On September 18, 2026, KazGASA piloted a new mock interview initiative for final-year students. The project was organized by the Centre for Internships and Career Development, with Parametric becoming its first corporate partner.
The initiative is designed to prepare students for employment by allowing them to experience the main stages of a job interview in a safe learning environment, receive a professional assessment, and identify areas for further development.
The sessions were conducted as full interviews with company representatives. Students answered technical and situational questions, worked through practical cases, and demonstrated their professional communication skills.
The experts assessed the content of the students’ responses, their ability to support their views with clear arguments, their confidence in communication, and their behaviour in stressful situations. Following the interviews, each participant received individual feedback and recommendations on preparing for real job interviews.
Particular attention was paid to CV preparation, the effective presentation of professional experience and competencies, communication with employers, and ways to highlight personal strengths convincingly.
Mock interviews help students better understand the requirements of today’s labour market, build confidence, and prepare for communication with potential employers.
KazGASA thanks Parametric for its cooperation, professional expertise, and contribution to students’ career development. The university also thanks the participants for their active engagement, openness, and willingness to improve their skills.
Further sessions involving other corporate partners are planned. Information on registration for the next mock interviews will be announced separately.
