On May 19, 2026, the Urban Studies Laboratory of KazGASA hosted the final stage of the competition for the best small architectural form designed for a nomadic ethno-village.

The competition was organized among students of the School of Architecture and aimed at developing small architectural forms integrated into the natural environment and reflecting the cultural heritage of nomadic peoples.

As part of the competition, participants presented original concepts of small architectural objects combining modern architectural approaches, functionality, and elements of national identity. Special attention was paid to the harmonious integration of the objects into the natural landscape and the preservation of the project’s ethnocultural context.

Following the evaluation of the конкурс projects, the sponsor selected three winning places. The winners were students of the 1st, 2nd, and 4th years of the School of Architecture who presented the most well-developed and conceptually strong projects.

The event included an award ceremony for participants as well as presentations of the competition projects to partners and organizers. The winners received commemorative prizes and branded gifts.
