On September 22, 2026, representatives of the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) conducted a “Workshop on Gaussian Splatting” for students at KazGASA.
The practical session focused on applying Gaussian Splatting technology to create digital twins. Participants learned the fundamental principles of the technology and explored the process of creating detailed three-dimensional models of real-world objects.
The workshop enabled students to develop practical skills in using modern digital visualization tools and expand their knowledge of 3D modelling and digital documentation.
Such events contribute to integrating advanced technologies into the educational process, developing students’ digital competencies, and strengthening academic cooperation between KazGASA and the International Islamic University Malaysia.
