From July 5 to 18, 2026, students of KazGASA are participating in the 5th International Summer Camp “Future AI Masters”, held at Northwestern Polytechnical University in Xi’an, People’s Republic of China.
The summer camp is organized by the university’s School of Computer Science and is dedicated to the study of modern artificial intelligence technologies. Over the course of 14 days, participants engage in an intensive educational program that includes lectures by leading international experts, practical training sessions, project-based learning, visits to high-tech enterprises, and cultural activities introducing the history and traditions of China.
The IEC delegation consists of 21 students, including 13 students from KazGASA. Participation in the program provides students with valuable international academic experience, opportunities to work in a multicultural environment alongside peers from different countries, improve their English and Chinese language skills, and explore cutting-edge developments in artificial intelligence.
As part of the program, participants have already visited several of China’s leading innovation hubs. One of the key destinations was Xi’an Software Park (西安软件园), one of the country’s largest technology parks, bringing together thousands of companies operating in information technology, artificial intelligence, software development, big data, and cloud computing. The park serves as a major center for innovation and collaboration between industry, universities, and research institutions.
The students also visited iFLYTEK (科大讯飞), one of China’s leading artificial intelligence companies. The company is renowned for its technologies in speech recognition, machine translation, natural language processing, and intelligent educational solutions. iFLYTEK’s technologies are widely applied in education, healthcare, public services, and digital communications.
Upon completion of the program, participants will present their projects developed within international teams and receive international certificates recognizing their successful participation in the summer camp.
