How do digital skills help individuals adapt to the modern job market?

The modern labor market demands not only professional knowledge from young specialists but also confident digital competencies. At the KazGASA, students begin developing digital skills from their first year: academic programs include modules on IT literacy, BIM technologies, project management, and analytics. In 2025, students completed the course “AI for Everyone” on the Coursera platform, which broadened their understanding of current technological trends.

One of the unique areas at KazGASA is the DronLab drone laboratory, where students learn to operate unmanned aerial vehicles and use them in architectural research, aerial photography, and object monitoring. These skills are especially in demand in urban planning and engineering fields.

Students’ practical adaptation to the labor market is supported by the Career and Internship Center, which organizes training sessions on digital and soft skills, networking events with employers, and an annual job fair. All of this helps graduates remain competitive and prepared for the challenges of the digital economy.
